Bordered by the Washita and Red Rivers' arms which form Lake Texoma, Marshall County is really like one big town made up of many smaller communities. Marshall County includes 589 miles of shoreline and the best beaches on the lake. Choose from our many Resorts & Marinas and Hotels for your next vacation or holiday. We have multiple golf courses and offer many other activities for your enjoyment.

Marshall County is strategically located approximately halfway between Dallas and Oklahoma City, and halfway between Interstate 35 and U.S. Highway 69-75 on the connecting link of U.S. 70. The county is less than 2 hours from the DFW airport with quick access to all national and international cities.

Both the city of Madill and Lake Texoma State Resort Park have their own lighted, paved airstrips for private planes. Less than 25 miles away is the Ardmore Airport, a former military base. Ardmore has an FAA control tower and IL System with the capability to land not only the largest executive jets, but large commercial jets as well, on its 7,200 foot runway.
